2025 marks the 40th Anniversary of Wichita Warriors soccer and we would like to gather with as many coaches, players, parents, siblings, children, grandchildren & friends to celebrate the occasion.
We are in the very early stages of planning this event and are seeking input on date, time, location, etc.

Hello. I’m Bryan Smith, one of the original ’76 Warriors. I realized the summer of 2025 will mark 40 years since Bill Shilling put a group of 7-9 year old kids in orange, black, and white to play a local tournament in Wichita. No one at that time could have fathomed that it would grow into a soccer club touching the lives of thousands of players, families, and friends for 4 decades. I’m interested in celebrating the legacy that Bill created by having a reunion of sorts open to anyone who has been affiliated with the Warriors, past or present.
A fellow ’76 Warrior, Jason Zinn, has already been a huge help in listening to my idea & getting this blog set up. We’re looking for input from folks on how we can make this event a reality. If you have ideas for who to contact (and hopefully means to do so), and where & when it could take place, please share on this blog. We want Bill to see and hear just how much of an impact he’s made. Thanks.
